Bassoues Tea was slow to start own root but it's finally trying to hit its stride. At times, it can resemble a less double Rosette Delizy, at others, not so much. It can be susceptible to the usual "Tea mildew", but it appears not to be as bad as some. Whatever it is, it's a pretty thing!

ReplyDeleteHey , Kim excellent blog . I came across your work through Paul Barden and some work I’ve been doing solo at a really old cemetery here in Denver with old garden roses. If you have some time to talk roses and hybridizing can you drop me a line at epiphyteme@icloud.com
ReplyDeleteThank you.
ReplyDeleteKim, I am so happy to tumble onto your lovely blog. I got that rose and trying to find out on size maturity.
ReplyDeleteJin
Thanks, Jin. I hope you enjoy it. I can't give you much information as to its ultimate size as mine has to be satisfied being trapped in a fifteen gallon nursery can. There, I do encounter four to five foot long canes.
